Ring Size Guide
Finding the right ring size is the most important part of ordering online. This guide gives you three easy ways to measure at home, plus a free printable chart. We use US standard sizing for all rings (sizes 3 through 13, including half sizes).
Method 1: Measure a Ring You Already Own
You will need: a ring that fits the intended finger and a ruler in millimeters.
- Measure the inside diameter of your existing ring, edge to edge through the center.
- Match your measurement to the chart below.
Tip: Use a digital caliper if you have one for the most accurate result.
Method 2: Print Our Size Chart
You will need: a printer, this guide, and your existing ring.
- Download our printable ring size chart [link to PDF].
- Set your printer to 100% scale (do not select "fit to page").
- Verify the test box on the printed page measures exactly 50mm wide.
- Place your ring on the chart and match the inside edge to one of the printed circles.
Method 3: Measure Your Finger With String
You will need: a piece of string or a strip of paper, and a ruler in millimeters.
- Wrap the string snugly around the base of the finger where the ring will sit.
- Mark where the string overlaps.
- Lay the string flat and measure in millimeters.
- Match your measurement to the circumference column in the chart below.
Tips for the Perfect Fit
Measure at the end of the day. Fingers swell as the day goes on, so an evening measurement gives you a comfortable everyday fit.
Check both hands. Your dominant hand is often slightly larger.
Account for band width. Wider bands (3mm and up) fit tighter than thin bands. If you are ordering a wide band, size up by a quarter to half a size.
Mind the temperature. Fingers shrink in cold weather and swell in heat. Measure at room temperature.
When in doubt, size up. A slightly loose ring can be resized smaller easily. A too-tight ring is harder to fix.
