Overview

Here's the outlier in our salt and pepper case: a kite cut center graded D to E in color, 1.20 carats, surrounded by white round, baguette, marquise, and princess stones for 1.55 carats total. It's the ring for someone who likes the kite geometry but wants brightness over smoke. Still handpicked, still one of one. We cast each engagement ring to order in sterling silver or 10k, 14k, or 18k gold, white, yellow, or rose, and delivery runs 2-3 weeks from order.

The piece came back looking new. It was nearly three weeks before it came back to me. They did say two to three weeks, so thats on me for not reading.

Thank you Vanessa, and thank you for being fair about it. Warranty service does take two to three weeks from the day it reaches our workshop, and we should be putting that in front of people rather than leaving them to find out. Glad the work itself was right.

FAQs

A salt and pepper diamond is a natural diamond that contains visible black, white, and gray inclusions. Instead of being flawless, these stones celebrate their natural characteristics, creating beautiful and distinctive internal patterns.

No. Because the black and white inclusions occur completely naturally within the earth, no two stones are exactly alike. Each diamond has its own unique color distribution, character, and pattern.

Despite their internal characteristics, they are still natural diamonds. They rank a 10 on the Mohs hardness scale, making them highly durable and suitable for everyday wear.

Traditional diamonds are priced based on their lack of flaws. Because salt and pepper diamonds are valued specifically for their heavy inclusions, they are typically less expensive than conventional white diamonds of a similar carat weight.
