RING SIZE GUIDE
Find Your Ring Size
Getting the size right is the one thing worth slowing down for. It only takes a few minutes at home, and we are here if you get stuck. Here is everything you need.
Quick size finder
Already measured your finger or a ring you own? Pop the number in and we will tell you your size.
Three easy ways to measure at home
Pick whichever is easiest with what you have lying around. If you can, try two methods and compare, it is the surest way to land on the right number.
Measure a ring you already own
This is the most reliable way, especially if you are buying a surprise gift.
You will need: a ring that already fits, plus a ruler with millimeters- Take a ring that fits the finger you have in mind. Lay it flat.
- Measure straight across the inside, from one inner edge to the other. That distance in millimeters is your inside diameter.
- Type that number into the Quick size finder above, or find it in the chart.
Wrap your finger with string
No ring handy? All you need is a bit of string or paper.
You will need: string, thread, or a thin strip of paper, plus a ruler- Wrap the string snugly around the base of your finger, where the ring will actually sit.
- Mark the spot where the end meets the rest of the string.
- Lay it flat against your ruler and measure the length in millimeters. That is your circumference.
- Drop that number into the Quick size finder above and switch the menu to "mm around."
Complete US ring size chart
Every size from 3 to 13, in quarter steps, the way we craft them. Match your measurement to the row, or search for a number.
| US Size | Diameter (mm) | Circumference (mm) |
|---|
Diameter is the distance straight across the inside of the band. Circumference is the length all the way around. Both are measured on the inside of the ring.
Tips for the perfect fit
A few small things make a real difference between a ring you notice all day and one you forget you are wearing.
Measure at the end of the day
Fingers swell a little as the hours pass. An evening measurement gives you a fit that stays comfortable from morning to night.
Check the right hand
Your dominant hand usually runs a touch larger. Measure the exact finger on the exact hand the ring is meant for.
Mind a wide band
Wider bands, around 3mm and up, sit tighter than thin ones. If your ring has a wide band, go up by a quarter to half a size.
Watch the weather
Cold shrinks your fingers, heat swells them. Measure at room temperature for the truest read.
When you are between sizes, size up
A slightly loose ring is an easy fix. A ring that will not pass the knuckle is a harder one. If you are torn between two sizes, take the larger.
Still not sure? We do this every day.
Send us your measurement and we will confirm your size before you order. A two minute chat usually settles it.
Return & Exchange Policy
We want you to feel confident with every piece you order from IBIZ Jewel. If something arrives damaged, you receive the wrong item, or the size isn't right, we will help you make it right. Please read this policy carefully, as returns and exchanges apply to different situations.
The 7-Day Window
Both returns and exchanges must be requested within 7 days of delivery. Requests made after this window cannot be accepted.
For any return or exchange, the item must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition with all original packaging.
Returns
A return means sending your item back for a refund.
Returns are accepted only in these cases:
- The product arrived damaged
- You received the wrong item
Returns are not accepted in these cases:
- Custom-made products
- Items that have already been resized
- Products that show signs of wear or use
- Requests made after the 7-day window
- A change of mind on a correctly delivered, as-described item
Exchanges
An exchange means sending your item back for a replacement.
Exchanges are accepted in these cases:
- Size issues
- Product defects
- Wrong item received
If your ring simply doesn't fit, an exchange is one option. In many cases, resizing is faster
and easier. See our Resizing Policy to compare your choices.
How to Start a Return or Exchange
- Email us at info@ibizjewel.com or start a live chat within 7 days of receiving your order.
- Include your order number, whether you want a return or an exchange, and a clear
description of the issue. Add photos if the item is damaged or defective. - We will confirm your eligibility and send you the workshop address with shipping
instructions.
Please do not ship anything back before contacting us. Packages sent without a tracking reference linked to your order may be delayed.
Shipping Costs
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs on both returns and exchanges. We recommend using a tracked, insured courier, since you are responsible for the item until it reaches us.
How Refunds Work
Once we receive your returned item and verify its condition, your refund is processed to your original payment method. We do not offer store credit in place of a refund.
Refunds are completed within 2 to 3 weeks of approval. The time for the amount to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card provider.
How Exchanges Work
Once we receive your item and verify its condition, we begin preparing your replacement. Because each piece is handcrafted to order, your replacement follows our standard 2 to 3 week production and delivery timeline.
A Few Important Notes
- Custom-made rings can be exchanged for size or defect issues, but cannot be returned for a refund.
- Once a ring has been resized, it is no longer eligible for a return or exchange.
- Items damaged after delivery due to wear or mishandling are not covered by this policy. For repair options, see our Lifetime Warranty.

beautiful. top quality! ❤️💍
They sorted it under the warranty without any fuss. The wait for the repair was the hard part. Just know that a repair means a few weeks without it.
Sincerely, Michael
Thank you Michael, and thank you for being fair about it. Warranty service does take two to three weeks from the day it reaches our workshop, and we should be putting that in front of people rather than leaving them to find out. Glad the work itself was right.
The silver is lovely. To be fair, well made!
FAQs
For daily durability and timeless style, solid 14k or 18k gold (in yellow, white, or rose) and platinum are the industry standards. Platinum offers a heavier weight and premium durability, while gold provides classic warmth.
All precious metals will accumulate micro-scratches with regular wear. In the jewelry industry, this natural, slightly frosted look is called a "patina." If you prefer a high-shine finish, the band can easily be re-polished by a jeweler.
A width between 1.5mm and 2.5mm is generally considered delicate and lightweight, while 3mm to 5mm offers a more substantial, classic look. The best thickness depends entirely on your personal comfort and hand size.
Yes, plain bands made of traditional precious metals like gold or platinum are the easiest rings for a jeweler to resize seamlessly, ensuring a perfect fit as your finger size naturally changes over time.
